Carbon Credit just an example of how E-Check must go

Here we go. If this does not prove my point nothing will. Money out weighs common sense. E-Check develops similar credits that permit others to continue to pollute. This E-Check program has been in effect for 12 years and now our new Governor is ready to extend it even further. I ask the Governor this one small question; If E-Check was the do all end all program it was sold as, then why is the air in northern Ohio even dirtier then it was 12 years ago? Please quit listening to the people that profit from this debacle, and do away with this E-Check Program. We voted for change and all we got was more of the same. I voted for change and now I am sorry I did. Please fix this and restore faith in our leaders.

It is no secret to anyone that knows me, that I have been fighting the Auto emissions program in Ohion for over 10 years. I have brought up the issue of trading credits but was totally ignored. The talking heads are now trying to validate them again since Al Gore has been caught in such a hypocritical situation of using so much energy, while telling us all to cut back.

Now view how the talking heads try to wiggle their way out of Gore's actions. By the way, Al Gore is not the only ones doing this. E-check is in northern Ohio to generate the same type of credits that permit business in the area to continue to pollute. Our air gets dirtier because the business gets to buy their way out instead of cleaning up. Can someone tell me how a credit on a peice of paper cleans the air in our area?
