Rampet corruption

Well here we go again. Is there no way to stop the corruption in politics? Myself, I am sick and tired of Government being sold to the highest bidder. Ohio Congressman Jim Trafficant is now in prison for 8 years in corruption charges. All I could find out was he had aids working on his houseboat. He was very vocal on blowing the whistle on massive governmental corruption. Thanks to JJ Cafaro bribing Trafficant, then testifying against him really stinks. To shut him up, the long arm of the law had him taken from congress and put in Federal prison. Now to make matters worse he runs his daughter Capri Cafaro to take over Trafficants seat in Congress. She lost but was appointed to the Ohio State Senate. Now which is worse. Trafficant, or the Illinois Governor extorting money for a senate appointment to fill Obama's unexpired seat in Congress, or a less then stellar individual ousting Trafficant only to try to get his daughter to fill his position? How much do you want to bet the Illinois governor will not spend any time in prison over this issue. It looks like William Jefferson from Louisiana will walk away clean also after the Feds found $90,000.00 hid in his freezer. What, he does not trust banks? No need to worry Congressman Jefferson. the FDIC will protect your money up to $100,000.00 that is if it is legally gained money. You lost your election, now it is time to reflect on your actions. Was it worth it? I just ask how many more are doing the same thing and have not been caught yet?

What do all of these people have in common? Yes, they are Democrats!!! I am a lifelong Democrat and I do not plan on changing. Clean up this corruption and give me my party back dammit!!!

Should have seen this coming

I got 3 calls today. All 3 were mad about this election. All of them were bringing up the Impeachment of Obama. IMPEACHMENT? Hell the guy doesn't even start for over 2 months. Even the news pundits are calling for Obama to resign. We just went through 8 years of Democrats demanding the Impeachment of Bush, are we now going to go through 4-8 years of Impeach Obama demands? No wonder I hate politics so much. I told all of these morons to look closely at the Congressional races because that is where any change will take place if any change ever will. Congress can overrule anything a President does, so that is where the power really lays. Even an Executive order can be overruled by Congress. Now if a congressman or senator does not have the stones to right a wrong, then throw the bum out. That's all those people understand. Makes a person really optimistic on the future. NOT

Obama won so lets get over it and move ahead and fix this mess we are in.

I had a hard choice when it came for President. I lean towards fiscal conservative when it comes to financial issues, and a moderate to liberal leanings when it comes to social issues. As with other elections, I did not see a great deal of difference between the two candidates. This still places me in the position that I am not welcome on either side of the political spectrum. I am too liberal for the Republicans, and too conservative for the Democrats. I feel a little like Joe Leiberman must feel right now. He was a life long Democrat that went Independent and chose to support his friend John McCain. Now look at him. The Democrats don't trust him anymore, and the Republicans don't trust him unless he denounces all of his democratic leanings. Welcome to my world Joe. Now you see how I and many others feel. I voted for Obama because I felt he was closer to the socioeconomic views I hold. People tried to convince me he was everything from an Islamic terrorist, to a Communist/Socialist and they even tried to convince me he was not even and American citizen. Don't ya think Hillary and the Clinton Machine would have uncovered that little tidbit before now? I could not vote for the Whack-Job Al Gore in 2000 because of his all out hatred for the Internal combustion engine, and I could not vote for the turn coat snitch John Kerry in 2004, but the Democrats finally ran someone I could somewhat relate to. Do I think either candidate would have a chance to fulfill any or most of their promises? Hell no! Do I think this election sent a clear message to the republicans? I sure hope so because we need a balance of power and not petty bickering. The sooner both sides stop this insane kindergarten bickering, the sooner we can get this country back on track.

Happy birthday to me, Happy birthday to me

Yes, I turned 50 today. Some say that I am officially middle aged. Well I think that is a crock. I am only middle aged if I make it to 100 years old. Now how many people actually make it to 100? Well,I guess I should be happy to be fairly healthy. I feel healthy but the doctors keep finding things wrong with me. They have finally found enough to guarantee that I will now only find work if I go and open up my own business, the I will most likely pay through the nose for any kind of health insurance. Does it sound like I am a little depressed? Well I guess that is what turning 50 does to a person.

Feeling better but getting good enough to bitch about something.

Since my accident I have had time todo some reading on the net. I know the mother of the man that was killed/died while in the Summit county jail. I went to the message board only to find some people dominating and abusing other people. I contacted the owner of the board and the Beacon Journal because two or three people dominate the board ad ridicule anyone with views different then their own. They are abusive morons. They don't even know the difference between "Innocent & Not Guilty" Just because a person is not guilty does not mean they are innocent. It only means there was not enough eveidence present to prove beyond a resonable doubt the verdict of Guilty. If you go to this board and say this, the people I spoke of will attack you like a cat on a mouse. Just look for yourself Deputy Acquitted in Inmates Death

Snyder has an accident

Yes it happened again. On Saturday night 8-2-2008 I tripped over what I think must have been the hose on our patio and received several bruises and cuts and ended up unconscious in front of the door. My mother found me early Sunday morning and called 911. Now I am looking at a huge hospital bill that I doubt i can pay. We were barely making it as it was. If anyone feels generous enough to help, please visit my website and you can help through my paypal account. I will post the amount that the bill comes to when it gets mailed to me, and I will even post it so people know I am not running a scam on anyone. I will also post the amounts that are donated, and the dontate button will be removed if the cost of the bill is reached. Richard Snyder's personal website

President 2009

Here we go again. How does one pick a gem from the choices we are given. We don't pick these people, the party picks them. Sure we get to vote, but we only have the choices they want us to have.

Which candidate do you think will get us out of this economic crisis we are in? Gas @ $4.00 a gallon and climbing. Bananas @ $.59 a lb. Milk @ over $3.00 a gallon. Should I continue? I think Howard Beal says it best.
